Summary

Thad Woody grew up in Waynesville, North Carolina before receiving his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  While an undergraduate, Mr. Woody served as Senior Class President.  In law school, Mr. Woody was involved as a member of the Holderness Moot Court and studied as an international student one semester at the University of Sydney School of Law in New South Wales, Australia.  Following law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Sarah E. Parker, Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court.  After serving as a law clerk, Mr. Woody relocated to Atlanta to practice complex corporate litigation and real estate transactional work. Mr. Woody now dedicates his practice exclusively to the area of family law.
